Alejandro Aravena (1967), arquitecto de la Universidad Católica de Chile, estableció Alejandro Aravena Arquitectos en 1994. Fue visiting profesor en 
GSD Harvard (2000-2005) y actualmente es profesor de la Catedra Elemental-Copec de la Universidad Católica. Es miembro del 
Jurado Pritzker y ha sido nombrado International Fellow por el 
Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA).

Alejandro Aravena (1967), architect Universidad Católica de Chile, established Alejandro Aravena Architects in 1994. He was Visiting Professor at Harvard GSD (2000-05) and is currently the Elemental-Copec Professor at UC. He is member of the 
Pritzker Prize Jury and has been named International Fellow of the 
Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA).

Awards include the Silver Lion at the XI Venice Biennale, the Marcus Prize 2010, the Avonni Prize for Innovator of the Year and the Erich Schelling Architecture Medal 2006 (Germany) among other prizes.
His Books include Los Hechos de la Arquitectura, El Lugar de la Arquitectura and Material de Arquitectura and a monography on Elemental by Actar to be published in 2010.
